About Me
Milwaukee-based Interior Designer, bringing new life, personality, and functionality to tired and worn spaces of all types. I've always been fascinated by how design can influence your life and well being, both at work and at home. I've been designing for the senior living industry for the past 13 years, but since launching my business, I've added residential, multi-family, hospitality, and other commercial projects to my wheelhouse.
Senior living is aesthetically residential in nature, but functionally
lands within a commercial context. It allowed me to learn and be
influenced by both worlds, making me a well-rounded designer that can handle projects of any type. My passion is bringing comfort, well being, and a sense of belonging through thoughtful design to all types of spaces, blurring the lines between work, home, and play.
Services
Senior Living
In designing for the aging population, there are many considerations and details to coordinate to ensure the safety, security, and well being of the residents. This has been my specialty throughout my career, and I can take on any size project from start to finish.
Commercial
Although Senior Living is a subcategory of Commercial Design and has been my main focus, I have experience with other commercial project types as well. I am NCIDQ Certified and a WI Registered Interior Designer, who can take any commercial project from start to finish.
Residential
Whether you need a full remodel of a single space or an entire home, furniture and decor styling, or a simple color consultation, no project is too large or too small. What separates me from the pack of many other residential designers is that I take the design process to a level above and beyond, where we do a deep dive into your families specific needs and preferences, to create a design that is specifically tailored to you. There is a purpose behind every decision made and dollar spent. Great design is in the details, and I leave no rock unturned.
Aging in Place
While I am a huge proponent for Senior Living communities and the value they can bring, I understand the desire to stay in one's own home as long as possible. My experience in Senior Living design as well as Residential, gives me the tools and information I need to design a home where you can "age in place", so you can live a long, happy life at home that ensures your long term safety, comfort, and well being. I've spent years studying diseases likes Alzheimers and Dementia, and general aging characteristics such as loss of eyesight and hearing, arthritis, etc. to truly understand the needs of the aging population.
